Angel Tree replaces children's program
The Salvation Army Western Pennsylvania Division announced Wednesday it is unifying with the national Angel Tree program this Christmas, and this will replace the former regional Treasures for Children program.
Through Angel Tree, the Salvation Army identifies families in need of assistance through its Worship and Service Centers, Services Centers, Service Units and referrals from other organizations.
Each Christmas tree toy tag represents a specific child in need, so donors can participate to a specific cause. For more information about becoming an Angel Tree volunteer or donor, contact Leah Cross, Angel Tree coordinator, at Leah.Cross@use.salvationarmy.org or by calling 412-446-1534.
