Helen Trimble
Helen L. Trimble, 93, of Zelienople, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born April 20, 1928, in Middle Lancaster, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Laura Domhoff Miller.
Helen was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she was both baptized and confirmed. She retired from K-Mart in Cranberry Township where she was the assistant deli manager, and she also worked at Isaly’s and Audrey’s Fine Foods. She belonged to the Keenagers and enjoyed attending plays at The Red Barn. Helen will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her six children, Barbara J. Vogel of Butler, Patricia A. Brickner of Butler, Douglas E. (Chris) Trimble of Prospect, Shirley M. (John) Rosenwald of Cranberry Township, Larry J. (Christine) Trimble of Zelienople and Lisa J. (Eric Croll) Henry of Evans City; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Carl (Betty) Miller of Harmony; her sister, Donna Hall of Harmony; and numerous cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Bensink.
Trimble — Friends of Helen L. Trimble, who died Saturday, June 19, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, with the Rev. Susie Esseck and the Rev. Timothy Dawes, co-officiating.
Helen will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s honor to Zion Lutheran Church or Meals on Wheels in Zelienople.
