Rondalyn Jean “Roni” Horstman

Rondalyn Jean “Roni” Horstman

Rondalyn Jean “Roni” Horstman, 54, of Herman, passed away Thursday morning at her residence following a brief illness.

Born May 14, 1967, in New Kensington, she was a daughter of the late Ronald Eugene and Patricia Mae Irvine Weaver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Wesley Weaver.

Roni was the owner/operator of Perfect Touch Landscapers Plus. She was a very outdoorsy woman. She loved being in the sunshine!

She was an avid animal lover and caregiver. She volunteered her time at the Butler County Humane Society. She worked at the Dr. Rice Animal Clinic for many years. She would rescue any animal!

Roni was head-over-heels for her grandsons. They were the apple of her eye. She loved spending time with them and watching them play. She fought her battle as hard as she could for them.

Roni put her heart into everything she did. She made sure everyone knew how special they are. She loved to meet new people and she loved to laugh. Roni was a very selfless person. Our hearts are broken.

Roni is survived by her husband, Curtis L. Horstman, whom she married Aug. 28, 2014; four daughters, Trisha Engwer of West Deer, Miranda Krampert of Butler, Tiffany Horstman of Butler, and Molly Horstman of Prospect; four siblings, Jeff Weaver and his wife, Lorraine, of Freeport, Kim Corey and her husband, Fran Brown, of Meadville, Greg Weaver and his wife, Judy, of Prospect, and Jason Weaver and his wife, Wendi, of Prospect; three grandsons, Xavier, Shane and Nathan “Timmy”; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her very best friend, Beth Bellaji, of Carlisle, Pa.
