The Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary with two meet-and-greet events this week.

Catered picnic food, disco music and giveaways are planned at the center’s two locations.

The first event will be from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the 313 Liberty St. building.

Other activities are planned from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the 165 Old Plank Road location. Shuttle service is planned.

Staff and board members will be on hand to greet visitors.
