Richard M. Leroy

Richard M. “Dick” Leroy, 86, of Herman, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Born Aug. 20, 1934, in Butler, he was a son of the late Marcel and Jean Miller Leroy.

Dick was employed as a foreman at Magnetics. He retired in 1996 with 42 years of service.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Church.

He belonged to the French & Belgian Club, the RC Men’s Club and Elks Lodge 170.

He is survived by his wife, Grace T. Spinneweber Leroy; six children, Cynthia (James) Ford of Worthington, Kathleen (Donald) Weleski of Cabot, Brian (Kim) Leroy of Butler, Robert (Terri) Leroy of Cabot, James (Kim) Leroy of Butler, and Betsy (Les) Bauer of Butler; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Leroy.

LEROY — There will be no visitation for Richard M. “Dick” Leroy, who died Thursday, June 10, 2021.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Mary of the Assumption Worship Site, 821 Herman Road, Butler, with the Rev. James Kurtz, O.F.M. Cap., officiating.

Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
