An 18-wheeler collided with two cars on Route 8 on Thursday, sending two people to the hospital.
Truck rolls onto car; 2 taken to hospital

Two people were taken to the hospital after an 18-wheel truck overturned in a multi-vehicle crash at approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

According to state trooper Joshua Osche, the southbound truck struck a Subaru that was pulling out of the Shell gas station near the intersection of Route 8 and Hall Road in Brady Township.

The impact from the crash caused the truck to continue forward and roll onto a northbound Ford Escape, according to Osche.Each vehicle had one occupant. The truck driver was uninjured. The drivers of the other two vehicles were transported by ground to the hospital, Osche said.The status of the patients was not clear as of Thursday night.According to the police scanner, two individuals were entrapped at the scene.Witnesses at the scene said the truck had a green light when coming through the intersection.Traffic was redirected as emergency crews responded to the crash.
