Daniel L. Burka
Daniel L. Burka, 69, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
He was born Sept. 12, 1951, in Butler, and was the son of the late Lewis and Helen (Homa) Burka.
Daniel was a champion bowler in the 1960s and 1970s, and toured the country with his bowling league. He was also a lover of animals, and volunteered at the Butler County Humane Society for years.
He is survived by his three children, Keith Burka of Butler, Megan King of Pittsburgh, and Janet White of Butler, and their spouses; two grandchildren; four sisters; and two brothers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leah Burka, whom he married on June 14, 1980, and who died on Sept. 24, 2012.
BURKA — Friends and family of Daniel L. Burka, who died Tuesday, June 1, 2021, will be received from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the blessing service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
