Undergrads receive awards

GROVE CITY — Grove City College presented several awards to its undergraduate students.

The Outstanding Senior Molecular Biology Major Award went to Gideon Hillebrand of Cranberry Township. Each year, the Beta Beta Beta honorary society presents these awards to a senior biology major and a senior molecular biology major who show outstanding ability in the field of biological sciences.

A Thelma Baltz Morrow Award in English went to Bryce Lowe of Grove City. The Morrow Award is presented annually to the three students who, in the judgment of the English faculty, have consistently demonstrated the highest standards of excellence in the use of the English language.

The Institute of Management Accountants Award went to Erin Greer of Valencia. Superior achievement in the field of accounting is the basis for this award. It includes a monetary award and plaque recognition.

A Music Education Award went to Caleb Hixon of Mars. This award is presented to two music education majors who have completed student teaching during the current school year and have demonstrated excellence in the field of music education.
