Stops added to Sweet Tooth Trail
The Butler County Sweet Tooth Trail, a self-guided tour of local bakeries, ice cream shops, and candy stores is welcoming two news stops along the trail, Donut Connection in Butler and Mars Candy Land in downtown Mars.
These additions now bring the total from 16 to 18 participating businesses along the Sweet Tooth Trail.
The trail gives everyone the opportunity to savor the flavors of Butler County’s chocolate, baked goods, ice cream, shaved ice and even nostalgic candies.
Those participating will create their own itinerary and fill up their passport with a specially designed symbol from each location, then move on to the next sweet spot at their leisure.
Once the passport is complete, participants can take it to Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau to claim a commemorative prize and be entered into the grand prize drawing for a sweet-themed gift basket
The Bureau’s office is at 310 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
Passports can be picked up at participating Sweet Tooth Trail locations, the Tourism Bureau or any of the Bureau’s 35 brochure racks throughout the county.
Go to the Tourism Bureau’s website VisitButlerCounty.com/SweetToothTrail to learn all about the participating locations.
