Patricia A. English

Patricia A. English, 92, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born March 3, 1929, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Clyde L. Myers and Helen E. (Hoffman) Myers.

Patricia was a faithful member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City, for over 80 years, where she served as treasurer of the Women’s Association, was a Circle Leader, and for 50 years, played piano.

She worked for Dr. John Burn in Butler, and Dr. Richard Allsopp in Evans City.

Patricia enjoyed painting, and volunteered to play the piano at Evergreen Nursing Home in Harmony, for over 15 years. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, James P. English and his wife, Tammy, of Upper St. Clair; her grandchildren, Kristine and Andrew; her brother, Wayne C. Myers and his wife, Jane, of Renfrew; and her sister, Helen L. Foster and her husband, Dennis, of Troy, Kan.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James M. English, who passed away on Feb. 1, 1991; and her brother, Louis W. Myers.

ENGLISH — Friends of Patricia A. English, who died Thursday, May 27, 2021, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Patricia will be laid to rest at Evans City Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 330 E. Main St., Evans City, PA 16033, or to the Evans City Area Historical Society, 204B S. Jackson Street, Suite 1, Evans City, PA 16033.
