Freeport Street to remain closed through June 24
Freeport Street, from Main Street in Saxonburg to Route 228 in Clinton Township, will remain closed through June 24, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
PennDOT said the extension of the time of the closure is needed to complete a pipe replacement project.
Motorists should detour using Route 228 to Route 356 to State Route 2010 (Winfield Road) to State Route 2011 (Freeport Street).
