Newhaven Court marks 100% of staff vaccinated for COVID
Newhaven Court at Clearview in Center Township has been recognized for attaining a 100% COVID-19 vaccinate rate among employees.
The 71 employees were recently presented with a certificate of recognition for the achievement by Larry Rouvelas, CEO of IntegraCare, which owns the facility.
“We take the safety and well-being of our team and our residents very seriously,” said Rouvelas, who made employee vaccinations mandatory during the pandemic.
“We are proud of our team for getting vaccinated to protect not only themselves, but also our residents,” he said. “IntegraCare is a great place to work, a g5reat place to live and now is a safer place for all.”
Gary Renwick, executive operations officer at Newhaven Court at Clearview, said the team had the residents' health and safety in mind.
“I am proud of our team for leading the charge on the fight against COVID-19,” Renwick said. “As front-line workers, it is exciting to be on the forefront of this initiative and being industry leaders in this regard.
“We believe the safety of our residents and the quality of life they regain from opening our doors to their loved ones is immeasurable. The vaccine is the first step in regaining some sense of normalcy and keeping our team, residents and families safe.”
IntegraCare will work with Johnson Pharmaceutical Services Inc. to ensure that team members and residents have access to vaccinations in the future,
