Relay for Life slated at North Boundary

People from across the area will come together at North Boundary Park to participate in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Cranberry Township June 26. The opening ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be followed by survivor and caregiver recognition at 7:30 p.m. and a luminaria ceremony at 8:30 p.m.

In between, walkers will take to the pavement, walking to celebrate those who have beaten cancer, support those who are battling cancer and honor those who are no longer with us.

Food trucks, live-action painting by George William, Relay Team games and themed walking laps will greet participants as they participate in the event, which raises money to support the mission of the American Cancer Society.

People wishing to participate in any portion of the event can do so by coming to North Boundary Park. Those looking to support an existing Relay Team or form one of their own should visit relayforlife.org/pacranberry.
