Edna Mae Hardie

Edna Mae Hardie

Edna Mae Hardie of Sligo, Pa., went home to be with Jesus on May 10, 2021, after a long illness at the age of 73.

Edna was born on June 8, 1948.

Edna was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher and friend and prayer warrior to many people. Her goal in life was to let people know her friend, Jesus, so they could join her in Heaven.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Charles (Henry) Mahle; and her older brother, Jim Krieble.

Those who are waiting to see her again in Heaven are her loving husband, Thomas Hardie; her sons, Thomas Hardie II and Donald Hardie; her daughter-in-law, Suzy Hardie; her daughter, Gloria Hardie; her granddaughter, Joy Hardie; her sisters, Evelin Womeldorf (Wes Womeldorf), and Leota Hilliard; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Edna Hardie would tell everyone to not grieve her leaving, but instead celebrate her life and God’s grace and mercy.
