Local organizations inform, entertain

This year, the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is proud to partner with various local nonprofit organizations to bring entertainment to the Jeep Parade.

Amsoil will be presenting a Jeep Scavenger Hunt, encouraging participants to find things on Jeeps that are waiting for the parade to begin.

The Butler County YMCA will be represented by one of its certified personal trainers, offering free blood pressure monitoring, free body mass index evaluations and a drawing for a free three-month membership to the Butler County YMCA.

Team Fishguy Transplant Foundation will have a photo booth set up to promote transplant needs. Come have your picture taken through a Pa. license plate cutout to promote being an organ donor. Organ donation sign-ups will also be available.

Win both large and small prizes from an array of other activities, such as the goofy golf putting green, presented by Trail Adams and the Butler Meals on Wheels ring toss.

The festival is also partnering with the Alliance for Nonprofit Resources and Butler Food Pantry for a food drive. Parade attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable item to donate to a worthy cause.

Lastly, the Evans City Lions Club/EDCO Park parade float will be featured, along with Evan the Lion and Jeep Karaoke.

Organization booths and activities will open Friday at 2 p.m., when parade staging begins. Only parade registrants will be able to participate in these activities.
