Alexandra Chiappini

Alexandra M. “Sandi” Kouvaras Chiappini, 47, of Chicora, went to be with the Lord early Tuesday evening, May 4, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Sandi was born Nov. 18, 1973, in Austintown, Ohio. She was the daughter of Judith Neely Kouvaras, of Chicora, and the late John N. Kouvaras Sr.

Sandi was a 1992 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

She was a born-again Christian, enjoyed camping, and the company of her family and friends.

Sandi was an active school parent, and a member of the Karns City PTO. She participated in the cheerleading program in the school district, and was secretary of the Cheer Board.

In addition to her mother, Sandi is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Chiappini, whom she married Sept. 5, 1998, at the Community Alliance Church in Butler; two children, Emily A. Chiappini and Andrew K. Chiappini, both at home; a brother, John N. Kouvaras Jr. of Grove City; a sister, Georgia M. Glass and her husband, Terry, of Slippery Rock; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Sandra Chiappini of Chicora; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kristin and Bob Stiehler of Karns City; her godmother, Tina Kouvaras Gulish of Ambridge; a number of nieces and nephews; two great-nieces; a number of cousins; and many friends.

CHIAPPINI — Friends of Alexandra M. “Sandi” Kouvaras Chiappini, who died Tuesday, May 4, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora-Fenelton Road, Chicora.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Floris, pastor of the Community Alliance Church of Butler officiating.

Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Chicora.
