Timothy Croup

Timothy Scott Croup, 45, of Harlansburg, New Castle, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, in Scott Township, Lawrence County, as a result of an automobile collision.

He was born in Grove City on Aug. 30, 1975, and was the son of Dale Calvin Croup and Lois Irene Cooper Croup.

He was employed as an electrician in the family-owned electrical business called Croup Electric in Portersville. Tim graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1993. In earlier years he enjoyed golfing and always enjoyed baseball and watching sports on TV.

Survivors include his mother, Lois, of Harlansburg, New Castle; brother, William D. (Deborah Jean) Croup of Butler; and two nephews, Jacob of Butler, and Joshua of Toledo, Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Croup — The family of Timothy Scott Croup, who died Friday, April 30, 2021, will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Portersville Bible Church, 156 E. Portersville Road, Portersville, with pastor Christopher Roberts of Portersville Bible Church and retired pastor Michael Charles, presiding.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Slippery Rock.
