Michael John Ball, 29, of Punxsutawney, formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Michael was born Dec. 29, 1991, in Butler, and was the son of David C. Halloway and Karen Ball.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in Afghanistan.Michael was a 2010 graduate of Butler High School, and was employed as a gardener at Cresco Labs Co.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and playing his guitar.Michael is survived by his mother, Karen Ball of Butler; his father, David C. Halloway of South Carolina; his sister, Emily Halloway of South Carolina; his stepbrother, Alex Rice of South Carolina; his paternal grandparents, Linda and Frank Roth of North Carolina; his maternal aunts, Rhonda Ball and Tricia Lebanno; his paternal aunt, Maria Clark; his paternal uncle, David Ball; and several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Judy Ball.BALL — The family of Michael John Ball, who died Thursday, April 29, 2021, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at William F.
