The Butler Parks, Recreation, Grounds and Facilities Authority recessed Monday’s meeting to enter into executive session and will reconvene June 1.

The authority board recessed Monday’s brief meeting to go into an executive session to discuss contract negotiations and other legal matters.

According to the Authority, it might take action on those matters when it reconvenes June 1 at 7 p.m.

Event planned

The organization announced an event date.

Among the upcoming events planned for Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park is Butler Downtown Night on June 2, when the Butler BlueSox will play the Butler Iron Bucks at 7 p.m.

The night includes fireworks after the game.
