Patricia McDonald
Patricia Burgh McDonald, 80, of Harmony, died on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, surrounded by family.
Patricia was a graduate of Zelienople High School and was the 1962 valedictorian of her graduating class at the University of Pittsburgh. She was a retired pharmacist and remarkable woman, admired for her kindness and keen intellect, and loved by all who knew her. She will be missed.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald; son, Kevin; daughter, Dana Strong; son-in-law, Mark Strong; and grandchildren, Charles McDonald, Madison Strong and Wilson Strong. She is also survived by a large extended family including sisters, Barbara Burgh, Marilyn Varner and Kathy Rigdon; and brothers, Charles Burgh and John Burgh.
She had been predeceased by her son, James; as well as her father, Charles F.M. Burgh; and mother, Marie Plesniak Burgh.
McDonald — The family of Patricia Burgh McDonald, who died Tuesday, April 20, 2021, will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2021, at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Highway, Harmony, with the Rev. Peggy Suhr-Barkley and the Rev. Timothy Dawes co-officiating.
Patricia will be laid to rest at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.
