YMCA hosts Healthy Kids Day
Children had the chance to activate their bodies and imaginations in fun and engaging ways Friday afternoon.
The Butler YMCA held its annual Healthy Kids Day, and hosted different class sessions throughout the day focused on keeping children healthy and safe. Some activities included a ballet class, an obstacle course, a music class and a karate class.
Multiple community organizations participated as well by offering information and manning food and activity booths, including the Butler City Police, Butler County Humane Society, the Center for Community Resources, and members of Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops.
