Vanette Rae Osborne, 62, of Butler, formerly of Slippery Rock, passed away peacefully at Sunnyview Nursing Home on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

She was born in Grove City on Jan. 13, 1959, and was the daughter to Kirby and Betty (Mackey) Osborne of Slippery Rock. Vanette attended and graduated from Slippery Rock High School. She loved her cats, crossword puzzles and arcade and video games.

Vanette was the mother of Elizabeth Ann Ashbaugh and Amanda Lee Ashbaugh; sister of Vickie Osborne of North Dakota, Vonnie (Leroy) Hogg of Slippery Rock and Valerie Osborne of Butler. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Saphria ErmaLee and Haley Elizabeth Ellenberger.

OSBORNE — A memorial service will be held at noon Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Slippery Rock.
