Michael Mazur

Michael Mazur

Michael Francis “Mike” Mazur, 40, of Ellwood City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 19, 2021.

Born Aug. 12, 1980, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Frank Mazur III and Patty Wolford Mazur.

Mike was an amateur chef and enjoyed preparing his recipes for friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. Mike also enjoyed the restoration he did of his vintage ‘72 Chevy pickup. He enjoyed the camaraderie of his friends. Mike had always talked of driving those big rig trucks at a very young age, and so he did by the age of 18, driving for FedEx and R & L Carriers, Vitran and Central Transport. However, his true dream was to own and drive his own big truck. That dream came true for him, and he was so proud. Mike always wanted it shined up, and the louder the stacks, the better.

In addition to his parents, Frank and Patty, Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister, Marianne (Pete) Magill; and niece, Cheyenne; his aunts and uncles, Ken (Joyce) Mazur, Ed (Elaine) Wolford, Judy Anderson, James (Janet) Wolford, Jack (Tracey) Wolford, Bob (Betsy) Wolford and Chuck Wolford; and his paternal grandmother, Lillian Mazur.

Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Mazur Jr.; and his maternal grandparents, Norm and Catherine Wolford.

Mazur — Visitation for Michael Francis “Mike” Mazur, who died Monday, April 19, 2021, will be held for friends of Mike from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Attendees are required to wear protective face masks.

The funeral service will be held privately by his family. He will be laid to rest at English Lutheran Church Cemetery in Zelienople.

Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
