Pearl Wilson

Pearl Wilson, 96, of Butler passed away on April 5, 2021, at Newhaven Court at Clearview.

She was born April 4, 1925, in Columbus, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Bruckelmeyer and the late Pearl Sagle Bruckelmeyer.

Pearl graduated from South High School.

She worked as a corporate secretary for American Hardware and Servistar, retiring in 1985.

Pearl was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered at the Veterans Administration.

Pearl enjoyed bowling league, bridge club and spending time with her family.

Pearl is survived by her two daughters, Jeannine (Richard) Davis of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Arlene (Tom) Rusnica of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Keith (Krista) Wilson, Kert (Amy) Wilson, Keri (Chris) Sands, Kim (Rob) Burch, Kelly (Mark) Byers, Joe (Karen) Rusnica and Steven (Heather) Rusnica; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Wilson, whom she married on Aug. 5, 1944, and who passed away on April 17, 1970; one sister, Joyce Feist; one brother, Eugene Bruckelmeyer; one son, Keith Wilson; and one grandson, Jeffrey Davis.

WILSON — There will be no public visitation for Pearl Wilson, who died Monday, April 5, 2021.

A private funeral service was held at the convenience of the family.

Private burial took place at Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Arrangements were handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
