Janet Buchan
Janet Roxann Laidlaw Buchan, 77, of Cabot passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was the beloved wife to John Michael Buchan for 57 years.
Born on Dec. 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Hester Corbett Laidlaw.
Janet was a graduate of Knoch High School Class of 1961.
Janet was employed by Paul Myer’s Pickle Farm, Du-Co Ceramics, Moonlight Mushroom and Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
She was a lifelong member of Cabot United Methodist Church.
Janet found pleasure in all aspects of life. She enjoyed camping and puzzles, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by her son, Michael (Tami) Buchan of Alabama; her granddaughter, Lauren Buchan of Alabama; one brother, Gale (Barb) Laidlaw of Saxonburg; one sister, Linda Morrison of Sarver; and two sisters-in-law, Sheran Laidlaw and Violet Laidlaw.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Laidlaw, Ronald Laidlaw and James Laidlaw; and one sister, Sally Foran.
BUCHAN — Friends of Janet Roxann Laidlaw Buchan, who died Sunday, April 4, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Gerber officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.
