Patricia L. Lutz

Patricia L. Lutz, 67, of Portersville, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital following complications from a stem cell transplant.

Born April 19, 1953, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Esther P. Brown Magee.

Patty retired from the Ellwood City School District, where she worked in the cafeteria for 17 years.

She was an active member of the Wurtemburg United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir.

Patty loved to sing, go camping and bike riding. She also enjoyed scrapbooking. Her most cherished time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Bernard “Bernie” R. Lutz; three daughters, Jody (Jerry) Osborne of Butler, Tammy (Tim) McLaughlin of Portersville, and Trisha (Joe) Derringer of Darlington, Pa.; three sisters, Carolyn (Bud) Hinkle of Portersville, Bonnie (Bob) Lansberry of Las Vegas, Nev., and Nancy (Jim) Graham of Portersville; six grandchildren, Wyatt and Morgan McLaughlin, Haden and Brady Osborne, and Emma and Sarah Derringer; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

LUTZ — Visiting hours for Patricia L. Lutz, who died Tuesday, March 30, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Marshall Funeral Home, 200 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.

Friends will also be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Her pastor, the Rev. Jay Sterling will officiate.

Interment will follow in Mountville Cemetery.
