Katherine Ramella

Katherine Ramella, 98, of Mars, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at the Vincentian Home.

Born Dec. 5, 1922, in Palmetto, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Alma and E.B Paul.

Katherine worked as a nurse for over 30 years.

She had been a member of LifePointe Alliance Church.

Surviving are her four children, Pamela Bowen of Cinnaminson, N.J., Ernest (Sarah) Ramella of Mars, Gary (Suzanne) Ramella of Ruskin, Fla., and Stephen (Sue) Ramella of Puyallup, Wash.

She was the grandmother of 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Bruno Ramella.

RAMELLA — A visitation for Katherine Ramella, who died Tuesday, March 30, 2021, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at LifePointe Alliance Church, 997 PA-228, Mars, where a service will begin at 4 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, or Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
