Clyde Wyant III

Clyde L. “Bud” Wyant III, of Penn Township, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital after succumbing to the COVID-19 virus.

He was born Jan. 6, 1947, in Kittanning, and was the son of Clyde L. Wyant Jr. and Carolyn Wyant (Artinger). He attended Mars High School.

He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 54 years, Linda C. (Hollick) Wyant. Bud retired from Armco Steel as a craneman after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and coaching Little League baseball.

He was the loving father to Clyde “Butch” Wyant IV (Cindy), Paul Wyant, and Sharon Mickey (Dean), all of Butler. He was the beloved grandfather of Steven Frey (Amber), Alissa Wyant, Malinda Wyant, Nicholas Mickey, Lauren Mickey, Lennox Wyant and Aiden Wyant.

Bud also is survived by his siblings, Patricia (James) Graham, Larry Wyant and Dennis Wyant, and sister-in-law, Kathy Wyant, all of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffry Wyant.

Wyant — There will be no visitation or services for Clyde L. “Bud” Wyant III, who died Saturday, March 27, 2021.

Fox Funeral Home in Saxonburg was entrusted with arrangements.
