Robert James Olenic
Robert James Olenic, 69, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 11, 1951, in Butler, and was the son of the late Martin Sr. and Ann (Fedokovitz) Olenic.
Robert graduated from Butler High School in 1969, and then attended Grove City College.
He worked at Armco for over 23 years, until his health forced him into an early retirement.
Robert was a member of the St. Andrew Orthodox Church of Lyndora.
He enjoyed following Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Penguins.
He was the devoted husband of Barbara (Shearer) Olenic, since their marriage in 1986; devoted father of Ryan Olenic of Conway, and Brendan and Jonathan Olenic, both of Butler; and the brother of Doris (Robert) Rasch, Martin Olenic Jr. and William (Beverly) Olenic.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, who have fond memories of him and his beloved 1977 Corvette.
