Barbara Kay Crawford, 86, formerly of Adams Township, died March 17, 2021, at her home in Mentor, Ohio, after an illness.

She was born March 31, 1934, in Houtzdale, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Rena (Crago) Thomas.

Barbara worked in the banking industry throughout her life, with her last position at the North Pittsburgh Telephone Co. Employee Credit Union.

She was a lifelong football fan, and enjoyed watching games with her family.

Survivors include her son, Marc (Janene) Crawford of Mentor, Ohio; her granddaughters, Lauren (Aaron) Crow of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Spencer Crawford of Mentor, Ohio; her nieces, Ann Steffler of Monaca, Pa., Linda Puckett of Baden, Pa., and Carol Doyle of Boardman, Ohio; her nephews, James Thomas Jr. of Monaca, Pa., Daniel Thomas of Asheville, N.C., and Lawrence Steffler of Monaca, Pa.; her sister-in-law, Judith Burke of Warrenton, Va.; her brother-in-law, Timothy (Ruth) Crawford of Mars; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ernest T. Crawford, who passed away in 2012; her sister, Reida Steffler; and her brothers, James Thomas Sr., the Rev. Donald Thomas and Quinten Thomas.
