Louis Wesoloski
Louis L. Wesoloski, 91, of Chicora passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, with loved ones by his side at Concordia Lutheran Ministries. Louis went to be with his Savior after an illness.
He was born May 23, 1929, in Homestead, and was the son of the late Henry and Catherine Wesolowski.
He graduated from Schwab Technical School in 1947, and was employed at Westinghouse until he retired as an electric technician.
He was a veteran of the Korean conflict as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps, which became the U.S. Air Force during his enlistment.He loved going out socializing with his fellow veteran family members every Veterans Day. Louis loved his family, his dog, Bandit, and his immaculate lawn.He was a member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Chicora.His favorite place was Albuquerque, N.M., where he and his daughter were both stationed. His favorite pastime was listening to Rush Limbaugh and cutting grass. His grandsons will fondly remember him for sneaking them to the custard stand.Louis is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Wanda “Jean” (Denny) Wesoloski; and his daughters, Wendy Olsen, Darcy Anderson, Tracy and John Kulak, Laurie and Don Babcock, and Tara Bruecken (Chris Painter).He is also survived by his only son, Mark “Dan” Wesoloski and Pam; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; his sister, Evelyn Putz; and numerous nieces and nephews.Louis was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Wesolowski; his brother, Walter Wesoloski; and his son-in-law, Michael Anderson.Louis “Lucian” will be greatly missed by all who loved him.WESOLOSKI — Friends of Louis L. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 409 N. Main St., Chicora, with the Rev.
