Henry F. Totzke
Henry F. Totzke, 83, of Mars, formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 16, 2021, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born Oct. 11, 1937, in North Braddock, he was the son of the late Charles and Anna Sohn Totzke.
He was raised in North Braddock and graduated from Scott High School. He resided in McKeesport from 1966 until 2013, and then resided with his son's family in Mars since 2013.
He was of the Lutheran faith, and had served in the U.S. Army from 1961 until 1963.Henry had been a computer programmer for 43 years for Westinghouse. He then worked for the University of Pittsburgh as a computer programmer during the Y2K crisis.In his free time, he was a fan of the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. He loved spoiling his grandkids, and watched their sporting events and other activities. He loved music and made tapes for all of his friends.Surviving are his son, Henry K. Totzke and his wife, Kristin, of Mars; a granddaughter, Meghan Totzke; a grandson, Max Totzke; a nephew, Tim Fruehan and his wife, Teresa, of Aliquippa; and his cousins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Krieger Totzke, who passed away on Dec. 21, 2012; and his sister, Edith Fruehan.TOTZKE — Friends of Henry F.
