Bonnie A. Cobb

Bonnie A. Cobb, 89, of Cranberry Township passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Born Aug. 2, 1931, in Roanoke, Va., Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis H. Cobb, who passed away on Aug. 4, 2003.

Bonnie graduated from Radford College in Virginia, with a B.A. in education.

She was a former teacher at Rowan Elementary School in Cranberry Township, and taught part-time at other schools in the Seneca Valley School District. In later years, she taught kindergarten at KinderCare Learning Center on Freedom Road.

She was a loving mother, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.

Bonnie was a professional artist and a jigsaw puzzle master, with a love for flowers, hummingbirds and giraffes. She will forever be remembered as a good and faithful servant of the Lord, and a true woman of grace. She was greatly loved and will be missed by many.

Bonnie was a faithful member of Three Rivers Free Will Baptist Church in Cranberry Township. She was the founder of what was once called “Naomi’s Circle,” a women’s group, later changed to “The Goodtime Girls.”

She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her daughters, Anita Cobb Knestaut of Greenwood, Del., Lori Jean Orr (Edward) of Bethel Park, and Lyric Kali of Santa Fe, N.M.; her grandchildren, Jonathan Knestaut (Nicole), Daniel Knestaut (Arti), Andrew Knestaut (Brandy), Lucas Orr, Nathan Orr and Derek Orr; her great-grandchildren, Emily, Justin, Noah, Jayden, Ellis and Mason; and her cousins, David Angle, Peggy Looney and Joseph Rushbrooke Jr.

COBB — Friends of Bonnie A. Cobb, who died Sunday, March 14, 2021, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township, with Pastor Cody Freeman officiating.

Bonnie will be laid to rest privately at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.

Memorial donations may be made in her honor to Three Rivers Free Will Baptist Church, 20401 US-19, Cranberry Township, PA 16066.
