Shirley A. Baker
Shirley A. Baker, 71, of Pulaski, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, March 14, 2021, after a long illness at Golden Hills Nursing Home.
Shirley was born Aug. 13, 1949, at Ellwood City Hospital, and was the daughter of the late Clifford and Margaret Baker.
She spent her childhood in Harmony, where she graduated in 1967 from Seneca Valley High School.
Shirley retired from Jameson Hospital, where she worked in registration. She also had her own business working as an auto part locator for many years.
Shirley was an avid cat lover, enjoyed researching genealogy, Civil War reenacting, watching NASCAR, following politics, reading books and feeding the squirrels.
She is survived by her son, Glenn (Diane) Baker of Prospect; her granddaughter, Sarah Baker of Denver, Colo.; her brother, Bernard “Bernie” (Sally) Baker of Harmony; her two nieces, Jennifer (David) Vasil of Zelienople and Amy (David Sinclair) Baker of Butler; her uncle, George Roman, and her aunt, Joan Phillips, both of Harmony.
BAKER — As requested by the family, services were held privately for Shirley A. Baker, who died Sunday, March 14, 2021.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
