Larry Kriess

Larry “Chip” A. Kriess, 59, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Born in Butler on June 5, 1961, he was the son of Larry M. (Patricia) and the late Patsy (Beman) Kriess.

Larry enjoyed Pittsburgh sports, camping, and above all else, he loved animals.

He was the father of Sarah Kriess, Laura (Ryan) Clifford, and Lissy Potochny; stepfather of Tim, Chris, and Trudy Bunnell; brother of Donna (James) Zang, Mitchell (Melinda) Roth, Paul (Robin) Kriess; stepbrother of Tammy, John Jr., Chad (Rachelle), and Dirk (Erin) Holt. Larry is also survived by six grandchildren and a large and loving family.

Along with his mother, Patsy Kriess, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Kriess.
