Alice S. Austin, 79, of Zelienople, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

She was the daughter of Edward and Helen Foster.

Alice was a faithful member of the Old English Lutheran Church of Zelienople.

She loved spending time with her friends, and was an avid animal lover. She also enjoyed volunteering her time and resources to many charitable organizations. She was well loved by many, and will be dearly missed and remembered fondly.

She leaves behind her daughter, Barbara Walters and her husband, David, of Frederick, Md.; her son, Jim Austin and his wife, Michelle, of Germantown, Md.; her grandchildren, Kayleigh and Brenden of Germantown, Md.; her sister, Vicki Crispo and her husband, Neil, of York, Pa., and their children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Frederick G. Austin Jr.; and her husband of 48 years, Frederick G. Austin Sr., who she loved and missed dearly.

AUSTIN — Friends of Alice S. Austin, who died Tuesday, March 9, 2021, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Alice will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a local food bank in her name.
