Vacciniations open up to Phase 1B

A Butler resident gets a COVID vaccination on January 29, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Pennsylvanians who are a part of Phase 1B are able to begin receiving vaccines starting Monday.

According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health those included in Phase 1B are:

• clergy and essential support workers for houses of worship

• people in congregate settings not specified as long-term care facilities and people receiving home and community-based services

• individuals caring for children and adults in early childhood and adult day programs

• postal workers

• transit workers

• education workers

• manufacturing workers
