Marilyn A. Davis

Marilyn A. Davis

Marilyn A. (Higgins) Davis, loving mother of three, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2021, at the age of 82.

Marilyn was born and raised in Butler, where she and her husband, Bob, were married. She and Bob moved to Lower Bucks County with a young family in 1962.

Upon graduation from Butler High School, Marilyn completed a registered nursing degree from Butler School of Nursing and later, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Penn State.

Her nursing career spanned over 45 years, and included pediatrics, emergency, family practice and pharmaceutical research. Dedicated and highly skilled, she took great pride and honor in serving countless patients throughout her career.

Marilyn’s love of music was on display every Sunday as an organist for numerous Lutheran churches in the area. For years, she was the organist and choir director at the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairless Hills. Her dedication to God and her hardworking, practical style made her a reliable friend to the many people who will miss her.

She is survived by her three children, Jeff, Brian and Kerry; and her grandchildren, Colin and Rhiannon.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Bob.
