Howard R. Cornibe Jr.

Howard R. Cornibe Jr., 63, of Alva, Fla., formerly of Middlesex Township, passed away suddenly on Feb. 17, 2021.

Howard was born April 5, 1957, in Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late Howard and Marianne Schuchman Cornibe.

He was a graduate of Mars Area High School and Edinboro State College.

Howard had a long career in technology, starting with Hewlett Packard and ending with Apple. He was retired and worked for Dolphin Transportation Co. in Naples, Fla.

Howard enjoyed following Pittsburgh sports teams and was a passionate Penguins hockey fan. He was a car aficionado and longtime birder with his father.

Howard enjoyed music, reading, travel and art. He had numerous friends, and everyone enjoyed his company and sense of humor. Howard will be sadly missed and remembered by all of his family and friends.

Howard is survived by his significant other, Jacqueline Heder; his sisters, Jean (Jim) Reynolds of Sterling, Va., Janet (Ernie) Yockey of The Villages, Fla., and Jayne (Joseph) Pinchbeck of Seneca, S.C.; his former spouse, Janice Wamboldt Cornibe; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

CORNIBE — A memorial celebration for Howard R. Cornibe Jr., who died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, will be scheduled at a later time.
