Viola Maxwell

Viola “Vickie” Rubis Gregg Maxwell peacefully passed away at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Jan. 24, 2021.

Vicki was born March 11, 1929, and was the daughter of her late parents, Nancy and Ralph Rubis of East Brady.

Vicki was a dedicated Catholic and a lifelong member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

She was an avid bingo player. She lived in Butler all of her life, and had many friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Vicki is survived by her son, Richard; her daughters, Darlene and Joy; her grandchildren, Adam, Tana, Melissa, Amanda, Tim, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jack, Paige, Olivia, Richie, Gary and Scott; a number of nieces and nephews; and her stepchildren, Tina and Craig.

Vicki was preceded in death by her brothers, Mario and Robert, and her sisters, Dora, Irene and Jenny.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy; her son, Daniel; her grandsons, Michael and David; her stepson, Chip; and her daughter-in-law, June.

MAXWELL — Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a service will be held at a future date for Viola “Vickie” Rubis Gregg Maxwell, who died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
