Rickey Bridges

Rickey Lynn Bridges, 64, of Evans City, unexpectantly and peacefully passed away at his residence Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, due to natural causes.

Born Aug. 18, 1956, in Comer, Ga., he was the son of the late George Thomas and Ople Whitfield Bridges.

He was a painter and owned his own business, Bridges Painting Service, for over 33 years.

He enjoyed time with his grandchildren, gardening, traveling to see Georgia relatives, hunting, car shows, flea markets, yard sales, watching football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs and the Steelers, and his passion was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his children, Brooke (Nathan Defelice) Bridges of Evans City and Nicklas (Alysis Christy) Bridges of Mars; his grandchildren, Ethan Defelice, Logan Defelice, and Camille Bridges; his fiancée, Patricia Fusaro; and her children, Steven, Jonathon, Brandon, Tyler Fusaro-Podobensky, Austin Smith, and Aleesia Fusaro; and his brother, Larry Bridges of Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many siblings.

Bridges — Visitation for Rickey Lynn Bridges, who died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, PC., 387 Main Street, Prospect.

Interment will be Friday, at the Bridges Family Cemetery in Madison County, Ga.
