Michael Suojanen

Michael J. L. Suojanen, 44, of Harmony, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021.

Mike was born on Feb. 27, 1976, and was the son to the late Kari Tom Lauri Suojanen and Kristy Lynn Bench Suojanen.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed playing golf, playing disc golf, fly fishing and kayaking. He also enjoyed shopping. Above all, Mike cherished the time he spent with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 10 years, Rachel Fisher Suojanen, whom he married on Sept. 26, 2010; his children, Colby Suojanen and Lahela Fisher Suojanen; his grandson, Deagan; his brother and sister, Stanley and Jaymi Suojanen, both of Utah; Rachel’s parents, Brian and Alice Fisher of Ambridge, formerly of Zelienople; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Suojanen.

Suojanen — Services for Michael J. L. Suojanen, who died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, will be held privately by the family.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
