Roberta “Bobbi” I. Prementine, 48, of Slippery Rock passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021.

She was born Sept. 20, 1972, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Robert Dewain Simons and Irene (Novalis) Simons.

Bobbi graduated from Butler Area Senior High School in 1990, then went on to achieve a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Robert Morris University.

After college, she worked as a customer service representative for T.W. Phillips for several years, then worked for PNC Bank at Moraine as a cashier, customer service representative and a loan officer. Bobbi also had been a server at Red Lobster. She also worked for Alliance For Nonprofit Resources as a caregiver to her brother, Matthew. Bobbi did all of this while being a loving wife and mother of four beautiful children. Anyone who knew her, knew how much she loved and devoted herself to her children’s sporting events and activities.

Surviving are her mother, Irene Elizabeth Simons of Butler; her husband, Jason Prementine of Slippery Rock, whom she married on Aug. 10, 1996; her three sons, Hunter Prementine E-4 serving on the USS Abraham Lincoln as a nuclear operator based in San Diego, Brady Prementine and Levi Prementine, both of Slippery Rock; her daughter, Lexis Prementine of Slippery Rock; her sister, Elizabeth “Beth” (Shane) E. Ozella; her brother, Matthew Simons; her nieces and nephews, Brittany (Ed) Steele and Daniel L. Steele II, all of Butler, and Tama (Rachel) Cassel of Warren Mich.; her great-nephews, Jace Robert Daniel Steele and Robert Cassel; her great-niece, Rhiannon; her in-laws, Robert and Kathleen Prementine of Butler; a sister-in-law, Beth (Tom) Shelton of Austin, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dewain Simons; her sisters, Renee L. Simons and Monica Lee Simons; her nephew, Robert W. Foulk; and her fraternal and maternal grandparents.

PREMENTINE — Friends of Roberta “Bobbi” I. Prementine, who died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, will be received from noon until 2 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with Pastor Mary Kitchen of East Butler Presbyterian Church officiating.

Private burial will be held in West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
