Raymond J. Schnaubelt

Raymond J. Schnaubelt of Cabot passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2021, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Aug. 24, 1928, in North Braddock, Pa., he was the son of the late Leo Schnaubelt and Louise Klemmer Schnaubelt.

Ray was a U.S. Navy veteran.He worked for Penn Monaca Steel Products in Beaver County, where he worked in sales and in drafting.He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Joseph R.C. Church in Cabot.Ray was known for his kind soul and caring nature. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, golfing, fishing, woodworking, wood carving and smoking his pipe.Surviving are his loving daughters, Linda (Charlie) Murphy of Pittsburgh, Julie (Tim) Sheehan of Strongsville, Ohio, and Sabra (the late Jim) Sheehan of Florida; many grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouses, Elizabeth Azinger Schnaubelt, Julia Quast Schnaubelt, and Elizabeth Utchel Schnaubelt; his daughter, Jeanne Schnaubelt; his granddaughter, Karrie Dendler; his great-grandson, Kyle Dendler; his sisters, Donice Fogle and Ann Hindin; and his brothers, Mark Schnaubelt and Leo “Skip” Schnaubelt.SCHNAUBELT — Due to COVID-19, services for Raymond J.
