William Ziegler Jr.

William A. Ziegler Jr., 85, of Evans City passed away early Tuesday morning, Feb. 9, 2021, at his residence.

Born Dec. 7, 1935, in Evans City, he was the son of the late William A. Sr. and Josephine O. Elder Ziegler.

He worked as a truck driver for Wayne W. Sell Corp. for 44 years, and for Eisler Nursery for 10 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and telling stories about his time on the road.

He is survived by his children, Tammy L. (Barry Jr.) Rider of Evans City, Kim A. Ziegler of Chicora, William A. (Bonnie) Ziegler III of Butler, Denise D. (Thomas Jr.) Brenneman of Slippery Rock, Stacey R. (Samuel Jr.) Hinds of Boyers, and Kevin S. Ziegler of Evans City; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, AnnaMae Ziegler, who passed away April 16, 2019; and his daughter, Kem Ziegler, who passed away February 2016.

ZIEGLER — Cremation services for William A. Ziegler Jr., who died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021, have been provided by Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 387 Main St., Prospect.

Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Mount Nebo Cemetery.
