George W. Datig, 68, of Butler, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.

Born July 25, 1952, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Charles W. Datig and Florence (Marcone) Datig.

George was a graduate of Butler High School, and the Butler County Community College with an associate degree in business/computers.

He was employed as a data processor for USIS.

George was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Surviving is a sister, Betty Connal of Broad Run, Va.; two nephews; one niece; one great-niece; and multiple cousins in the Pittsburgh area.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Charlene Datig and Judy Datig.

DATIG — There will be no public viewing for George W. Datig, who died Monday, Feb. 8, 2021.

Arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.
