Ruth Virginia Flick, 101, of Zelienople, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, surrounded by her two loving daughters.

Born March 23, 1919, in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late August F. Fleckenstein and Virginia Langhans Fleckenstein.

Ruth was Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople for many years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Jean Flick and Nancy Flick; her sister, Dorothy Crowley; and her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Francis W. Flick, who passed away in 2008; her sister, Helen; and her brothers, Bernard and Paul.

Flick — A private visitation will be held by the family for Ruth Virginia Flick, who died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021.

A public Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, PA 16063.

Ruth will be laid to rest at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth’s honor to St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church at the address above.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
