Barry Chuhra

Barry M. Chuhra, 59, of Saxonburg, passed away Feb. 6, 2021, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 21, 1961, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Joyce Garris Dietrich.

Barry worked as an HVAC technician for Kennihan Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, Schneider Heating and Air, and most recently Matt Mertz Plumbing. He previously worked at Moonlight Mushroom.

He was a member of the Sarver Vets. He loved to hunt and go to the casino and enjoyed bowling, camping, going to the beach and was an avid Steeler fan.

Surviving are his children, Craig (Stephanie) Chuhra and Amanda (Joe) Tissler, both of Kittanning, and Leanna (fiancé, Trevor) Sims-Chuhra of Dayton, Pa.; two sisters, Amy (Paul) Blair and Sharon (Jeff) Hall, both of Butler; seven grandchildren, Alissa, Zaadyn, Aaliyah, Gabriel, Sofia, Norah and Christian, who is on the way.

He is preceded in death by his mother; one son, Keith Chuhra; and one brother, Robert Chuhra.

Chuhra — Friends of Barry M. Chuhra, who died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
