Edward George Franceschina

Edward George Franceschina, 77, of Huson, Mont., passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, in Montana.

Born Nov. 23, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Edward and Mercedes Schaudel Franceschina.

He attended Highland Grade School and graduated from Mars High School in 1961, and St. Regis College in 1984.

He was a retired chief master sergeant for the U.S. Air Force.He was a longtime member of RMEF, and enjoyed hunting and fishing, traveling, his dogs and cats, and he loved his family more than anything. He loved life, and had a great belief in God.Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Karen Franceschina; his son, Edward; his stepson, Francis Michael Kress (Fleur); his stepdaughter, Debra Kress (Steven Lorenzen); his brother, Thomas Franceschina (Martha); his cousins, Gary and Gene Franceschina, Bonnie Snyder and Linda Treese; and six grandchildren.FRANCESCHINA — A Mass of Christian burial for Edward George Franceschina, who died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2021, was celebrated at St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township.Burial with military honors was held in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.Arrangements were under the direction of McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Condolences are available at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
