The Butler Little Theatre board of directors voted to postpone its 80th season until next year because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The plays the theater was planning to stage in 2020-21 may be the same and produced in the same order in 2021-22, providing pandemic restrictions are lifted.
Memberships purchased for the 2020-21 season will be honored for 2021-22.
Mars Area Elementary School students are joining in a Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser to benefit the American Heart Association through April 9.In their physical education classes, students will be learning about the five steps to proper heart health, while participating in heart-healthy activities.Students are also asked to collect donations for the American Heart Association.Donations will accepted online at www.bit.ly/KidsHeartSignup or via the Kids Heart Challenge app.In addition to online fundraising, students will be asked to make a $1 donation in return for the opportunity to participate in several theme days: “Red Out” Day (March 12, April 9), “Sports” Day (March 19) and “Crazy Hair” Day (March 25).
Al-Anon meetings will run from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays starting March 4 at St. Peter's Anglican Church, 218 E.
